 Josh Lawther is in his third year in the minor leagues, all with the Cubs. He graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a degree in marketing.
Josh lists the highlight of his job as seeing people thoroughly enjoy themselves at a Daytona Cubs game. He was part of the Cubs’ staff which won the Bob Freitas Award in 2006. Away from the ballpark, Josh enjoys music and playing and watching a variety of sports.
A native of South Bend, Indiana, Josh grew up a fan of Notre Dame, the Indiana Hoosiers, Chicago Cubs, Bears and Bulls. His favorite sports memory is the Cubs’ 2003 playoff run, especially when Chicago defeated the Braves in the NLDS. His proudest moment on the golf course was hitting a hole-in-one at the age of 16. |
