J. R. Laub returns to Daytona for his third year as the Director of Stadium Operations and Clubhouse Manager.   J.R. hails from New Smyrna Beach, Florida and is a graduate of the University of Florida. Laub is an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Cubs, Orlando Magic, Florida Gators and any team that happens to be playing Indiana. His favorite sports moment lasted an entire calendar year as his Gators won both National Championships in basketball and football.

Laub’s laundry list of accomplishments include Most Likely to Succeed, Homecoming King, Prom King, captain of the football and baseball team, Five-Star Weightlifting Champion, and the 2006 Bob Freitas Award.

J.R.’s hobbies include golf, fishing, softball, tailgaiting, grilling, going to the gym, and watching sports. His favorite Daytona destination is the infield at the Daytona 500.
