 Brandon Greene returns to the Cubs for his third season in Minor League Baseball. Originally from Muncie, Indiana, Brandon is a fervent fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Indianapolis Colts, Notre Dame football and Hoosier basketball. Greene’s favorite sports memory was Cincinnati’s sweep of the Oakland A’s in the 1990 World Series.
In his time away from the ballpark, Greene enjoys going to the beach, golf, sports and anything outdoors. His preferred Daytona destination is the Ocean Deck on a summer afternoon, but he loves being at the ballpark on a game day overlooking the Halifax River. Greene was a recipient of the prestigious Bob Freitas Award in 2006. Brandon graduated from Ball State University in 2005 with a focus in sports administration. He is single and resides in Daytona Beach. |
