Tom Denlinger joins the Cubs for his first season in Daytona and fifth year in Minor League Baseball. A native of Paradise, Pennsylvania, Tom is a graduate of Messiah College.

Tom got his start in baseball as an account executive with the Reading Phillies. He then held several positions with the Delmarva Shorebirds, most recently as Sponsorship Sales Executive. He says his favorite part of working in baseball is the big crowds on game nights and the smell of popcorn, peanuts and hot dogs. As a player, Tom’s shining moment was hitting a grand slam in a Little League all-star game.

Tom stays active outside of work by playing baseball, soccer, basketball, and tennis. He also enjoys long walks on the beach and watching TV. Tom roots for the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, 76ers and Flyers. He is single and resides in Daytona Beach.
