Cubs Put New Twist on Tuesday Nights

Cubs Introduce Silver Sluggers Club for Seniors in ’09

Tuesday nights at Jackie Robinson Ballpark in 2009 will still belong to Cubs fans 60-years old and above, although with a few added bonuses. The Daytona Cubs are pleased to introduce the Silver Sluggers program for the team’s most experienced and dedicated fans.

Membership to the Silver Sluggers is a $42 value for just $12 and features numerous advantages, including free admission to the seven Tuesday night home games on the Daytona Cubs 2009 schedule. Those games are April 14, May 12, June 2, 16 and 30, and August 11 and 25.

Alongside the free admission, Silver Slugger Members will receive a t-shirt, membership card redeemable for ten-percent off purchases at the Cubhouse, a free cup of coffee, and a free monthly e-newsletter delivered to their email inbox. As an added bonus, members attending their third game will receive a free box of popcorn, and those who make it to all seven Silver Sluggers games will get a free hot dog and small drink.

Membership forms for the 2009 Silver Sluggers program can be picked up in the Daytona Cubs offices located along the third base side of Jackie Robinson Ballpark. For more information or questions, contact Christina Shisler at (386) 257-3172 or christinashisler@daytonacubs.com.
